Headin' West!

Our annual spring trip to Phoenix, Arizona to visit my parents is this week!  The only major difference this time is that we will have a tiny human traveling with us...yikes.  Please don't cry the whole plane trip, Maggie Jane!

If only she could know that she will get to go in a swimming pool for the first time...

I will hopefully get to visit my favorite shop there, Melrose Vintage

I really like Rust and Roses in Phoenix also, they have a huge
outdoor area with furniture and accessories for your garden and patio

Hmmm...how am I going to get all this stuff into my suitcase?

Phoenix is special to us because we got married there

Even Maggie is getting ready to go with her
"I heart Grandma and Grandpa" shirt already on!
{what a munchkin}

We are certainly looking forward to some much needed sunshine and warmth!!

So excited you get to travel! My car is full with Home Goods fines (my first time there!) and I am having some yummy homemade chili, then back in the car for the ride home. A quick trip... but so worth the wonderful break in routine!! Be safe traveling.

*finds (I did not incur fines at Home Goods.. LOL)

Hi Stacey!

I LOVE Rust and Roses too! I have dragged so much junk home from that store, including a pair of boots! You will have to go to the new clothing store right next to Rust and Rose called Saints and Sirens--really cute stuff and really resonable too! Can't wait to hear how your trip went!

Thank you for becoming a follower, Stacey! I hope you have a great time in Phoenix. I think all of us Illinois girls deserve a trip to somewhere warm after the winter we're having! I hope your sweet daughter enjoys a dip in that pool, and that you come home with lots of goodies from your favorite shop!
Have fun!

Enjoy the break from the snow. If your baby crys on the plane . . .it is ok, she is just a baby. :)
