The Best Laid Plans...

"...of mice and men often go awry" -  To A Mouse, Robert Burns

Well, this lady's {not a mouse} plans to get her kitchen all pretty by the end of the week did not exactly get accomplished.  I don't even know what I was thinking that I would have everything done and in it's place anyway!  The very very good news is that I was able to get all the painting done, including the cabinets (with new hardware), walls, and ceiling!!!  However, I still have some decorating...floofing and fluffing if you will...and organizing to do before the kitchen is photo ready for the BIG REVEAL.

I think it would only be fair to give you a little sneaky peaky though...

{it has been raining for days, so the lighting is really bad}

Wall Color- "Lemon Ice" Martha Stewart
Cabinet Color- "Picket Fence" Martha Stewart

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks {see, I am being realistic now} it will be done and ready to share!

I wish you a great weekend and...

Well now, it will get done! You have your hands full over there. So rest yourself properly and don't over-stress on it.

The sneaky peaky is enticing. If your inspiration photo;s are anything to go by it's going to be beautiful.

Been pokin' around here and I love what you are doing with your new home. Your kitchen looks so great and I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. The white is a much better look. Looks like such a cheery home you're creating. Knew I'd want to come back to visit so I just signed on to follow! Happy Easter!
