Petal To The Metal...

I just love collecting Vintage Toleware and Enamel pieces!  I don't have tons of it, since it can be expensive, but these are the items I have found very reasonably priced, so far...

 The Daisy Candle Sconce, a recent purchase
at the Grayslake, IL Flea Market from Chippy Shabby

 An amazing Strawberry Sconce {electric}
purchased from Faded Plains

 The yellow Tole Painted Tray was a Flea Market purchase years ago {can't remember where}
The red and white flour sifter is from The Volo Antique Market, Volo, IL.

 Another find from the Grayslake Flea, a Vintage Enamel Bowl,
purchased from Rhubarb Reign.

This wall hook is not vintage, but I have had it for about 10 years {does that count},
it's from anthropologie.

The little Tole Daisy Lamp, in the baby's room, this was purchased on Ebay.
I hope to find some more lamps like this one...

...and I would LOVE a Vintage Tole Chandelier like this...

Or this...

These types of chandeliers are usually oh so expensive though,
and would probably need to be rewired as well...sob.

I do have my eye on this new one, however...

I just can't resist these beauties!  I sure hope my house doesn't end up looking like some weird Tole Museum someday, because I have collected way to many pieces... *wink* *wink*

love the tole inspiration, stacey. i have a vintage strawberry tole chandelier in my dining room.

you might want to call the land of nod outlet (it's a bit of a drive) and ask if they have the daisy chandelier. they usually have several for lots less.

love land of nod (even though it can be pricey -- it can be worth it for the uniqueness of their things)! and LOVE THE TITLE OF THIS POST!

I also collect enamelware as well. Mine is in the form of pans, small containers, old little lunch boxes, and only one rose wall hanging similar to your hook. We really are two minds that think alike.

I'm still looking for brass candlesticks...have you had any luck?

Hi Stacey -- Glad you like the saw horse table. And thanks for mentioning us and the enamel bowl. Love all the tole -- keep checking with us on a chandelier -- you never know. Won't be at NaDa, but know it will be great. Will be in Ohio that weekend. See you soon! xo

Toleware is always special; the pieces you've shown are just beautiful! Don't they just age to perfection too.

Love the chandi with the cherries. It just puts a smile on your face. Hope you find one for a great price! Nice to know that you're using red in your kitchen too. It's a taste specific color but I love it.
Have a great night! :)

These are all fantabulous! I like the wall sconce best. Not to put a damper on things, but I'd hate to have to dust all those nooks and crannies, lol!

I love tole, too! I have a daisy tole chandy in the kitchen, along with a matching sconce behind the sink! J'adore! I have a few other pieces, and am about to hang a HUGE 12 light tole with leaves and vines chandelier in my bedroom!

Your Vintage Tole pieces are beautiful. I have a collection of Italian Tole and Enamelware from various Countries too and I adore it all. My greatest 'score' was an Italian Role Tole standing Birdcage IDENTICAL to one I had swooned over on the cover of a fav Romantic inspired Magazine!!! And the most beautiful part... it was AFFORDABLE... my Heart nearly stood still! *Winks* I filled it with candles and fake Birds from the craft store... Though my Grand-Daughter found it all very odd and in a loud stage whisper asked her Grandpa, "Doesn't Gramma know she doesn't have a Bird? And those birds she does have in there are DEAD!!!" *LOL*
