Peonies Please

On a quest to find some Peonies today, since I have none of my own.
MUST plant some for next spring!
So far I have found NONE at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.  I am hoping some of the local florists have some!
{maybe I missed the boat, and they are all gone now}

You should be able to order them from the big garden catalogs, or online. I love pink and white peonies!!

Good luck finding the peonies! Our Target had them about a month ago, none today. Then our grocery store had them 2 weeks ago. I love mine and have been able to cut them from the gardens. They smell amazing!

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers! I especially love the palest pink ones. Your photographs are lovely! That second one, of two peonies in a little jar is so wonderfully soothing!

i do love a peony and find myself with exactly zero as well. i need to get across the street with my shears (my neighbors are cool with it). i had the most magnificent vintage peony bush in elmhurst! absolutely wild and tall, and i couldn't even keep up with it. i miss it so!

Peonies are my favorite! Just beware. They usually take a couple years to actually bloom after you've planted them. Also make sure to plant them very shallow. They will come up the first year, no problem, but no blooms.

Just now viewing this post...I LOVE peonies too...but unfortunately, it's too hot to grow here... ;( I loved peonies sooo much that I had them incorporated into my wedding bouquet...they are really expensive because they are only in season/grow for like a month or so. Ok, I went on & on, didn't I? So I shall digress...I love me some peonies too!

XO's,
Jessie
