{Sort Of} Fairytale News and a Shop Opening Not To Be Missed

Can you believe Thanksgiving is over?!  It came and went in a flash!
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

 {Maggie and I on Thanksgiving}

{My feet on Thanksgiving night...relaxing with a full belly, watching Friends Thanksgiving episodes...those re the best, I tell ya, so funny!}

Now, we rush right into Christmas, right?

{atop the hutch in my dining room}

Astoundingly, I have my tree up already.  I usually wait until the first weekend in December, but the Mr. will be gone on business soon, so we decided to put it up over the weekend, instead of waiting until he gets back.  Maggie was so into it this year (she's 2)!

I'll be posting some pics soon...right now, it's skirtless and I have a few more ornaments to put on still.  Have you started decorating for the Holidays yet?

Now, some shop talk!
I have been crafting away, creating Christmas items to sell at the brand new Urban Farmgirl shop!

A shop preview....

Did you see all of that awesomeness?!  I'm so excited to see the rest of the shop on opening night, Thursday, November 29 !  If you are local to the Chicago area, plan to make a trip to the shop Th-Sat for sure, you don't want to miss it...Mary of Urban Farmgirl is the expert is Farmhouse Chic!  I am honored to be among some other wonderful bloggers and creatives included in the shop, selling vintage and handmade.
Here are a few pics of some items I'll be selling there...

Can't wait to see what the other gals have made to sell, and all of Urban Farmgirl's cool vintage decor and painted furiniture!

I'll be back soon with some pics and a post of opening night there!

Oh my, there is so much goodness there to be in love with (the wee vehicles and trees, ballerina in the snow and stockings) but my very favourite is Miss Maggie in her turquoise jammies by the tree. I'll take one please... no wrap required. :)
