A {Sort Of} Fairytale Christmas House 2012

Would you like to step inside my house for a little Christmas tour?

Yes?  Okay, let's go...

 {This is the ONE time of year that the green metal trim on the storm door is good, otherwise, me no likey.  Also, not a fan of the style of glass in the front door.  In time, these will change.}

 {Just ignore the cord in the background...ahem.}

{Notice the Airstream ornament...now all I need is a life size one, are you listening Santa?}

{The vintage nursery sign is always up,
but works particularly well by the tree, dont'cha think?}

 {I made these from new bottle brush trees, they are set in vintage dairy cups.}

 {Love The Farm Chicks Christmas book!}

Holiday dishware mixed with new...

We'll finish up our tour with some very wise words from Dr. Seuss...

Thank you for coming by, hope you enjoyed my little holiday home tour!

XO,
Stacey

Love every bit!! My favourites are the trucks with their cargo and the strawberry tray... I have the exact same one. It used to belong to my parents. Thanks for the tour! :)

So very sweet. Especially loved the dishes (the Fire King tea cups make me melt!), the button garland, and everything in between!

My kind of decorating. I love everything.
My mother and brother used to work for Airstram. My parents had one but sold it. I would love one as well.

We have a few items in common... like the "world market" tin, the milkglass cup with holly, the santa mugs... i wish i'd thought of using one of my little milk bottles for a tree... perhaps next year! But I think my favorite two items are the cute little garlands on your bottle brush trees and the vintage trucks full of fun chrismas goodies :)

Your home is lovely and such fun vintage pieces. I especially like the vintage toy trucks and the aqua canning jars with bulbs. I also have aqua jars with vintage bulbs in them in our kitchen, but I suspect mine are not as vintage as yours. Love the mixed colours.

Stacey, your home is SO Charming with all your vintage Christmas decor. Loving those little trucks with the tree in the back, your wonderful signs, the vintage tins and trays. The cute chair decor in the front detracts from all those things you don't like! :-)

I love it all girl!! Especially that sweet little truck!

Oh Girl! Would it be too horrible to be jealous of EVERY SINGLE VINTAGE DECORATION you have? It would? Oh . . . OK, well in that case you have a very nice collection of hmmm ... stuff. LOL

Seriously, I'm loving this post with a passion and feel as if I should start a new Pintress board for "Vintage Christmas Loot I Want". Then I can pin every single photo in this post.

If I had to pick a favorite It would have to be the tiny deer taking a ride in the truck - adorable. Oh and the Christmas mugs, and the jars filled with bulbs. . . See I can't even pick ONE THING.

What pretty Christmas decorations! I especially love the idea of putting tinsel garland in the bottles. I never would have thought of that, and might have to borrow that idea for next year.

I remember the "Elsie cups" from when I was a little girl. I was surprised to see them again.

Happy New Year to you!
