Vintage Kitchen

The following photos have these 3 words in common:
DREAMY VINTAGE KITCHEN

I love all of these kitchens because, they're full of color and charm, and just say,
"come on, sit down, have a cup of coffee".

I would never feel at ease in kitchens like these:
{this one I really don't get!}

To each their own, I guess...If super modern is your thing, then that's your thing!

Notice how none of the modern kitchens have any cute decor or collectibles...
no fun!!

I'd much rather decorate my kitchen with the likes of this:

Incidentally, the last 4 items pictured are available in my shop TODAY and all of August while they last.  This month's curated shop theme is "Vintage Kitchen"!

I'd ask if you prefer a vintage or modern kitchen,
but if you read this blog, then I know your answer ;)

XO,
Stacey

LOL. I think you know where all drooling over your round up of dreamy vintage kitchens. I love, love, love the second one featured. The pops of red speak to me.

That first photo reminds me of my Baba's kitchen. Everything was mismatched, but her home was just so cozy! I love looking at many styles of kitchens, but it's the vintage style you've shown that makes me smile. Your Pyrex bowl art earns a big smile. So cute!

Stacey-That first kitchen reminds me of the one I grew up in. We had that same table and chair set and my mother had colors just like that kitchen. Love it- it was a wonderful trip down memory lane for me- xo Diana

Goodness, those kitchens are cute! I love the one with the plank walls. As I was looking at these photos I was suddenly reminded of a red and white enamel kitchen table that my mom had...I'm wondering if she still has it somewhere. I'll have to ask her. You'd love it!

I'm with you - color and favorite items rather than sleek and cold.

lol at your last paragraph Stacey! I was going to comment that I couldn't agree more with your choice of kitchens, and feelings about the modern ones, but I read your blog so I guess that's obvious ;)

The first one reminds me so much of the kitchen in our home when I was a young girl growing up in Ohio. Set up the same way and same style table and chairs only ours were yellow. Oh how I miss those days.

Oh yea! Some of these are on my Vintage Kitchen pin board! I think the first pic and the one from Cath are my favs! :) What's funny is that the modern kitchen people can't stand our kitchens! they totally roll their eyes! Ha-ha!

Your kitchen items for the shop are *so* cute! I love those dotty measuring spoons! Sadly, I am broke right now but just know I think your wares and crafts are awesome! ♥

Ugh! I totally know what you mean about the "modern" kitchens. They look clean, sanitary and COLD!! I love having a hodgepodge of color and patterns that bring a room to life and says, "please, come in and make yourself home!" rather than "DON'T TOUCH THAT!" LOL. Thanks for all the inspiration you have given me! I've been following your blog since your article in Flea Market Decor!

I'm totally with you, Stacey! I think I would go into a deep depression if I had to live with one of those ultra modern kitchens. The vintage kitchens you have pictured are all so cheerful and fun. Cute new items for your shop, too!

Oh yes, these are cozy kitchens, with a lot of character. I have always loved RED in the kitchen, but recently have changed to turquoise. It was a nice summer change.

Love,

I have read several articles in kitchen cabinet manufacturer and accessories, but this article seems to be pretty much confident with unique and interesting lines. Personally, I think it’s greatly a necessary article which is amazing with its technique to understand.
